At Carter Home Inspections, we understand how important a real estate purchase is to you so we take the time to do the job right. We spend time with you, clearly explaining our findings, giving you real answers that can help you make the right decision.
Our job isn't done until all of your questions are answered and once our inspection is complete, we can print, e-mail a copy that includes photos and explanations, right on the spot!
At Carter Home Inspections, we don't answer to anyone but you. While the relationships we have with local realtors and lenders are very important to us, our CLIENTS are our top priority. You can be assured that we will give your job our full attention and your home will receive the most thorough inspection possible.
About us
I am the son of John and Rozanne Carter. Although born in Chicago, I was raised here in Bloomington/ Normal. I have two brothers, Kevin and John Carter and three sisters, Michelle, Angela and Roxanne. My family and the values they bestowed upon me are two of the most important things in my life.
I married my best friend, Rosemarie Hoffstot in January of 2011. Together we live in Bloomington and are working on remodeling our home and landscaping our yard. I enjoy working with my hands and relax by fishing, camping and working in my basement workshop.
Due to issues in our families we are also extremely involved in working with cancer research & are involved with the Relay For Life in McLean County.
I graduated from Central Catholic in 1983 and have worked in the food retail business for 25 years, most of that in management. I graduated from the American Home Inspections Training Institute where I started a career in the Home inspection field. I am an alumnus of Heartland Community College and I am licensed in the state of Illinois through the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Division.
